Jim recently joined Asda as CPO. Prior to this he advised business executives, consultancies and technology start-ups on how to maximise the procurement value. He was formerly the CPO at Walgreens Boots Alliance. He has worked for Anglo American and General Electric within commercial procurement. Jim has worked overseas extensively, in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare and retail environments. He holds an MBA in strategic procurement from the University of Birmingham and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
