Caroline is procurement director at Drax, a FTSE 250 renewable energy company whose purpose is to enable a zero-carbon, lower-cost energy future. Drax announced its world-leading ambition to be carbon negative by 2030 in 2019, using Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) technology. Approaching her third anniversary with Drax, Caroline is building a truly global procurement capability to support the business both now and in the future. Caroline is an experienced and energetic leader who has worked in a variety of industries over her career, including technology, retail and financial services. She is a passionate champion for DE&I and very proud to have established the Finance Graduate programme at Drax, which will soon welcome its third cohort of future finance talent.
