Andrew joined NHS Supply Chain as CEO in September 2021 and has focussed on leading the organisation as it continues to develop a modern and agile supply chain. Under his leadership, a new operating model has been designed to realign the organisation to the changing needs of the NHS by enhancing its critical capabilities, as well as standardising and integrating its ways of working. Through its people, processes and technology, NHS Supply Chain is implementing its strategy to buy smart, supply right and partner expertly, to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first. Prior to joining NHS Supply Chain, Andrew was the executive director for the procurement and supply chain at JCB, where he was responsible for the global upply chain. Andrew has also held senior roles at Magnox Ltd (now a subsidiary to the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority) and Babcock International Group PLC, and brings experience across the retail, leisure, engineering and property sectors. be also holds a master’s in business administration and BSc in chemical physics from the University of Bristol.
