Andrew joined Standard Chartered Bank in November 2016 and is based in Singapore with responsibility for the bank’s strategic sourcing, vendor management and requisition to pay processes. He also leads the global travel programme the first line in third-party risk management. The bank has made substantial progress in improving its procurement effectiveness and has won a number of awards for its supplier diversity programme. Outside his role at the bank, Andrew serves as the treasurer for WEConnect International. Andrew was previously the director of Support Enablers and Inventory Management at the UK Ministry of Defence, and was tasked with reducing the UK defence inventory by a third to £32bn and delivering a £1.6bn logistics information services programme. Prior to joining the MoD, Andrew held a number of supply chain management and procurement roles at IBM, including being a partner in the consulting and process outsourcing business.
