Michaela joined Telia as CPO and vice president of finance in November 2021, and has been heading the global sourcing and supply chain activities for Telia since then, driving an ambitious transformation agenda with her team located in six countries in the Nordics and Baltics. Prior to joining Telia, Michaela was director of procurement and supply chain for A1, where she was responsible for seven country organisations. Besides delivering significant value on cost reduction to the group, she created the first ever agile procurement organisation. This led to an increase of 70% savings per employee, while showing increased employee satisfaction. She has showcased this transformation story at several international conferences. Before focusing on sourcing and supply chain, Michaela started her career in the international management consulting business and focused on transformation and reorganisation, leading projects in Europe and Africa. She joined the telecommunication industry in 2010 where she held several business positions. Michaela was educated at Vienna University of Economics and Business and holds a PHD in media science. Michaela lives with her family in Stockholm.
